Damuth Trane is a proud sponsor of the 8^th Annual Surfers Healing 5K Run/Walk in Virginia Beach, VA on August 16^th! All proceeds will benefit the Surfers Healing VB and the Autism Society of Tidewater Virginia. The 5K is a great family fun event. Finisher Medals will be awarded to all finishers and trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall. Special awards will also be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group. So come out and join in the fun! The Surfers Healing Surf Camp program was founded by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz. Their son, Isaiah, was diagnosed with autism at age three and they decided they wanted to share this unique therapy of surfing with those all around the world. They began to host day camps at the beach where children with autism and their families could be exposed to a completely new experience of surfing and healing. This program seeks to enhance the lives of kids with special needs, especially those with autism. This will be the 10th year that Virginia Beach has hosted the Surfers Healing Team.
