The Gala of Hope will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center from 6:30pm-11:00pm. This black tie event includes a plated dinner, silent auction and live entertainment featuring the internationally renowned band, Party on the Moon. The Gala of Hope benefits and provides support for those who cannot afford medical care. Join in the fight against cancer and come out and enjoy an evening of glamour, fun and hope! Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute (HUPTI) became the nation’s 8^th proton therapy treatment center and the largest free-standing proton therapy facility in the world when they opened their doors to patients in 2010. Proton therapy is a form of treatment, delivering effective, focused radiation treatment for a multitude of cancer types.
