Lewis Washington, Service Technician for the Peninsula region, is celebrating his 30-year tenure with Damuth Trane. After retiring from a 20-year career with the Air Force, he joined Damuth Trane in 1989. On his time with Damuth, Lewis remarks, “In the earlier years, we did not use or emphasize the word ‘team’ as we do today. However, working here has always been a team effort. My 30 years here at Damuth would not have been possible without the full support of the company as a team.”
Lewis holds a Refrigerant Certification and has completed several trainings through Damuth, NATFH, and ABB. As a Service Technician, Lewis is responsible for operating, repairing and maintaining the equipment being serviced or under contract. This equipment includes HVAC, computerized building management and maintenance management systems, and variable frequency drive units.
“With remarkable commitment, Lewis has been dedicated to serving our clients for over 30 years. He continues to grow both in his knowledge of our field and in his overall professionalism” expressed Clint Damuth, President of Damuth Trane. The company held an internal celebration in his honor on Friday, July 19.
